Continuing Education Credits

Claim CEUs

To claim CME for the 2021 ASTRO Annual Meeting, please complete the meeting evaluation via the Conference Planner or MyASTROApp by November 27, 2021. Once the evaluation has been completed for each session you attend and the general meeting, you will be able to print or email the certificate(s) you are eligible for.

If you have any questions about the evaluation or which credits are available, please contact the education team.

Credit Statements

For physicians that attend both the live and Digital XP sessions, you may claim CME for both programs.

Physicians

The American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
 

ASTRO designates this other activity (hybrid meeting) for a maximum of 59.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Dosimetrists

An application to the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board will be submitted for MDCB credits.
 

Physicists

An application will be submitted to the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs (CAMPEP) for medical physics continuing education credits (MPCEC).
 

Nurses and Therapists and Other Medical Professionals

This activity is not approved for nursing and/or therapist or other medical professional CEUs. You may print a certificate of attendance by completing the meeting evaluation.
 

Digital XP Only Attendees

The credit information below is for sessions attended/viewed on the Digital XP platform. The credit amount below is in addition to the live meeting credits that can be earned.

Maintenance of Certification

ABR

The American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) is accredited by the Accreditation Council of Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing education to physicians.
 

ASTRO is awarded Deemed Status by the American Board of Radiology to provide SA-CME as part of Part II Maintenance of Certification.

Since our accreditation is important to us, we plan activities that are compliant with the ACCME and the content or format of CME activities and related materials will promote improvements or quality in health care and not a specific proprietary business interest or commercial bias. Planning Committee members and speakers are required to disclose the existence of any financial or other relationship with the manufacturer(s) of any commercial product(s) or provider(s) of any commercial services discussed in an educational presentation.

Any conflicts of interest are resolved prior to participation. In addition to written disclosure, presenters will disclose any vested interest or their intention to discuss off-label use of pharmaceuticals or devices, if applicable, to the audience at the beginning of their presentation and in accordance with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education standards and the Food and Drug Administration requirements.

In an effort to increase transparency and easy access to all disclosures, ASTRO's Faculty, Committee and Planner disclosure information will be available online for the 2020 Annual Meeting.
