Updates on ASTRO Meetings/Activities

At ASTRO, the safety of our members and the patients they serve is of utmost importance. Due to concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the in-person meetings and events listed below have been cancelled or changed to virtual meetings:

  • The ASTRO Annual Meeting (October 25-28) has been changed from an in-person meeting to an immersive and interactive virtual conference that will occur over the same dates.
  • All APEx facility visits for accreditation are currently postponed and will resume when it is deemed safe to do so.
  • The ASTRO AI Research Workshop scheduled for June 4-5 in Washington, DC, has been cancelled. We anticipate rescheduling this workshop for the summer of 2021.
  • The ADROP Retreat scheduled for May 8 in Arlington, VA, has been cancelled. We are exploring options to reschedule.
  • ASTRO Advocacy Day scheduled for April 20-21 in Washington, DC, was cancelled. We are working to schedule virtual meetings with Congressional offices for a later date.
  • The SCAROP Annual Meeting scheduled for April 19 in Washington, DC, was cancelled. Alternative dates and formats are under consideration.
