The annual ASTRO Research Workshop is a one-and-a-half day research intensive workshop that explores emerging topics in radiation oncology. Key thought leaders in the field share their published and unpublished data to promote an open dialogue about the latest research and issues about each topic. Day two features breakout sessions focused on the topics discussed in the panel sessions on day one. These breakout sessions provide an opportunity for young researchers and clinicians to meet and engage directly with the leaders of the field. Poster presentations and poster viewing sessions allow investigators to show their data and develop new collaborations in the field.
The field of radiation oncology is well positioned to exploit the potential power of AI given our long history of harnessing computational power to benefit the planning, treatment, and delivery of radiation treatment for patients. This in-depth workshop will explore many of the questions surrounding this important topic, including:
